Inspired By…Florence Welch

English musician Florence Welch busted out into the scene with her band Florence and the Machine.

The band became popular after their hit single “Dog Days Are Over,” was released.  It was even covered on an episode of Glee.

But what I always noticed about Florence is her love for interesting clothes.  She takes some of the biggest risks in the fashion world, going for things other’s wouldn’t wear.  So when trying to dress like Florence, choose interesting silhouettes, lace, and fun shoes.

In this first look, Florence is at a music festival.  To copy her look, choose a baby blue lace dress, a light pink jacket, a pair of pink sandals, and to accessorize, add a gold ring.

This second look is a great dinner look.  Florence is wearing a lace dress and some purple booties at the Evening At Sanderson event in London.  For an interesting, but still lovely look, choose a lace dress, some grey booties, and a gold necklace.  If you’re not feeling daring, pair the dress with some classic grey heels.

In this final look, take Florence’s all black outfit and turn it into a hot night look.  Go with a sheer top, a black skirt, and some black strappy heels.  Choose gold accessories, including rings, which Florence loves, to complete the look.

Florence’s fashion choices aren’t for everyone.  They certainly can be daring, I mean, did you see the swan dress she wore to this year’s Grammys?  But, if you’re feeling daring, take some inspiration from her style.
