Inspired By… Keke Palmer

If you haven’t heard of Keke Palmer yet, you should definitely check her out.  She’s an actress who starred in her own Nickelodeon show called True Jackson, VP, which was all about a girl who becomes the VP of a fashion line, and she’s also been in multiple movies, including Akeelah and the Bee and Ice Age: Continental Drift.

Aside from being an actress, Keke sings too.  She’s been working on her second album, which is expected to be released sometime next year.

But, the reason why I think you should pay attention to Keke is her clothes.  At only 18, her fashion sense is years beyond her age.  She chooses classic silhouettes and pretty colors.  And her style is easily adaptable for everyone and anyone to copy.

This first look is of Keke at the NAACP Image Awards.  While her pink evening gown is a bit too fancy for a casual look, you can go with a pink maxi dress, a pair of sandals, and a owl ring.

For this second look, use Keke’s bright dress at the Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards for a dinner outfit.  Choose a floral print dress, pair it with some purple heels and silver drop earrings for a perfect dinner outfit!

And in this final look, Keke’s peplum dress is great for a night out.  To copy the look, go with a black peplum skirt, a teal bralet, a pair of low black heels, and a silver ring.

Keke’s fashion sense is one I certainly admire.  She doesn’t feel the need to show skin to look sexy and her choices are just impeccable.  If you love pretty colors and lovely silhouettes, Keke’s style is right for you!
