Your Excuse to Buy an Open Back Dress

Have a love-hate relationship with that trendy open back dress you bought this season?  Have no clue what to wear under a cut out dress you’ve been eying? We have all passed up that cute dress we really want but have no idea what undergarments to pair with it.

If you have a dress with a low or cut out back pair it with a low back bra.  Victoria’s Secret makes a bra that criss-crosses low on the back so it still holds you up but won’t show behind your dress or shirt.

If your dress has a plunging neckline in the front than a u-plunge bra will work well.  As the name states, this bra makes a kind of “U” shape low between the cups so that it is hidden under a low cut dress in the front.

Have an extremely form fitting dress? A full body slip with slimming abilities, such as Spanx, will be your best bet.  This will suck in any extra bulges that you might be able to see through your dress and also eliminate lines that could be showing through. With a completely open back dress, stick on cups will work best.  These are bra cups that are separated from one another with no back and have adhesive on the inside of the cup to stick to you.  This gives you the support and coverage of a bra without actually wearing one and showing anything in the back.

Regardless of the type of dress you own or have been craving, there is an undergarment that will work underneath.  No more passing up a cute dress because you don’t know what bra to wear!  Thank goodness!
