Jimmy Choo Teams Up with Artist Rob Pruitt
Jimmy Choo has teamed up with contemporary artist Rob Pruitt.
The eagerly anticipated collection will comprise of shoes and bags, which will be adorned with the artist’s trademark panda motifs.
Footwear guru Jimmy Choo first announced their collaboration with Pruitt back in April, but have just recently unveiled some of the highlights of their new collection.
Pruitt is best known for his flittering panda paintings and large-scale degrade canvases. For the new line, he created a unique duo of angel and devil pandas, which symbolize the dual personalities of the Jimmy Choo woman. The motif will be featured heavily in the line’s 19 styles of shoes, bags, and accessories.
Pruitt’s line will be a part of Choo’s 2013 Cruise collection, which will launch in boutiques and online in November.
This isn’t the first time Jimmy Choo has worked with contemporary artists and photographers before though. Nan Goldin, Marilyn Minter, and Richard Phillips have all worked with the shoe giant in the past.
