Lilly Pulitzer Warehouse Sale
Picture this: getting up at 4 am to stand in line for an undetermined amount of time outside a huge warehouse, just for the chance at a huge bargain. Black Friday? Wrong season, folks. I am talking about The Lilly Pulitzer Warehouse Sale! Lilly Pulitzer is most known for colorful, printed shift dresses, but the brand also features preppy separates, totes, and other cute accessories. I’m a big fan of Lilly Pulitzer, but being a broke college student doesn’t allow me to splurge on the 100+ dollar dresses, so the warehouse sale is something I always look forward to.
I went the second day of the sale and even though doors opened at 8 a.m., I got there around noon and I didn’t have to wait in line. The sale featured dresses, tops, shorts, skirts, swimwear, pants, shoes, and children’s clothing. The sale also had accessories, like printed pillows, lunch totes, ornaments, and planners. Everything was organized by size and it wasn’t too crowded. Even though I didn’t find anything at the sale, I received a coupon for 10 percent off at the Lilly Pulitzer store at the nearby mall and got a cute thermal travel mug! If you ever want to attend this sale, here are a few tips to make it a little easier:
Get there early: As with any publicized luxury brand sale, expect there to be a lot of people in attendance. Even though I didn’t wait in line, people I spoke to said they waited in line for a few hours. If you want to get the most selection out of the sale, get there at least an hour before the doors open. Make sure to bring snacks and water to give you energy to go through all those racks!
Don’t expect rock-bottom prices: Even though this is a warehouse sale, prices are not going to be more than around 30 percent off. Dresses ranged from 70 to 120 dollars and everything else was under 60 dollars. Even so, there are a lot of good deals if you’re willing to look.
Do your research: Preparation is key to getting the most out of The Lilly Pulitzer Warehouse Sale. Do your research and have a good idea of what pieces will be there. It also pays to know your size ahead of time so you don’t have to waste time trying things on.
