Eco Spotlight: Elroy

Elroy is a clothing company, which I recently found out about that incorporates sustainability and natural fabrics and materials into their garments.  They really caught my eye because of their large collection and their ability to really keep their collection stylish.  I often find a lot of companies who use natural materials skimp a little bit on style or don’t have a large selection of clothing pieces to choose from.  Elroy is the best of both worlds.

They use fabrics such as organic cotton and Tencel but they also use bamboo and pineapple, which are fibers that I have not heard of other companies using in their garments.  They live by the tried and true saying to reduce, reuse, and recycle.  The main goal of Elroy is to provide sustainable and ethically made clothing without losing the style that fashionistas want.

Elroy has a great selection of dresses, pants, skirts, tops, jackets, and accessories.  They use a toned down earthy color palate for a majority of their dresses and then incorporate some on trend colors as well such as color, mint, and aqua blues.  The dresses are flowy with added details on each dress such as ruffles, stripes, cutouts, or other detailing.

The majority of their pieces range around $100 but they have a good selection of sale items as well.  Elroy is a brand that is sure to please any fashionista who has an interest in natural fabrics, sustainability, and ethically made fashions.
