Vacation Fun and Fashion
After months of staying at home in doors, most people want to get out and travel in the summer. It makes sense though. Who wouldn’t want to go outside and enjoy the warm weather? Many people think that their vacation clothes need to match their destinations and that is not always a good thing. You should bring your beach attire when going to Hawaii, but you don’t need to load up on Hawaiian shirts before you get on the plane. You can, however, use accessories to play up your fun destination. Wallets and clutches might be the most stylish way to do that.
Yves Saint Laurent has a leather clutch designed to look like a letter. The clutch is addressed to Yves Saint Laurent himself and even has a stylish stamp. While it is not the typical postcard most people send while on vacation, it still has that traveling vibe to it. If the $445 price tag is too much for you, why not look for the same idea in something within your price range?
Kate Spade New York has come out with fun bags and wallets designed for summer traveling. There’s the All In A Day’s Work Shannon wallet, which has a 1950s picture of two women laying out by a pool, for $228 that is perfect any event that requires a swimsuit. There’s also the Tiki Bar Cocktail clutch, a black clutch with five tropical drinks on it and a pineapple on top to seal it shut, for $358 that would compliment a vacation to anywhere tropical. Both these items come in various other products from totes to iPhone cases. If you love these styles but can’t go over $100 I would suggest buying the iPhone cases. They are either $35 or $40 and can keep you looking stylish when you pull out your phone to call home.
If you’re looking for something even less expensive, try the brand Xhilaration. They make a bag that’s sold on Target’s website for $12.99 with a picture of the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco stamp and postmark. While the bag is labeled as a pencil case, it looks like a clutch that you can bring to a fun party.
No matter what your budget, you can always find a way to have this travel theme in your accessories this summer. All you need to do is look around. Wander a few stores, search the internet, do whatever you have to do. The perfect accessory for your summer adventures is out there; you just have to find it. Happy travels!
